What Small Step Can You Take Today?

“One is not born into the world to do everything but to do something.”  Henry David Thoreau.

Thoreau had many great contributions to the world in teaching us the code for “sucking the marrow out of life.”  Many of us get to the point where we have a dream, have set our sights on the life that we would love, have created a vision of being, having, doing, creating and giving in ways that make us feel alive; but we can’t see how to get there, so we do nothing at all and let our seedling of a dream die.

We look to our conditions and say things like, “I don’t have the money to start that business.”  “I am too old to start something new.”  “I don’t have the strength, contacts, time or resources to live that dream….”

The key is to live our lives according to our vision, not according to our conditions.  To do what we can, with what we have, today, to move in the direction of our...

What Are You Grateful For Today?

“Gratitude unifies the mind of man with the intelligence of Substance, so that man’s
thoughts are received by the Formless”
  Wallace Wattles.

What Wallace Wattles is saying is that gratitude is on the same vibration as abundance. So when we are vibrating on the frequency of gratitude, we are open to receiving the gifts that are always flowing to us. Make a morning practice of getting in a state of gratitude to start your day.

Bless everything you see. Start a gratitude journal and add something you are grateful for every morning and every night. This is a powerful practice that if you will do it, you will see instant changes in the nature of your days and ultimately, your life.

Two questions that should be in your mind often are these.  What would I LOVE?  What am I grateful for in this moment?

Choosing a vision for yourself, falling in love with and moving toward that vision, while being deeply grateful for everything you have now is the secret to...

Do You Believe You Deserve Riches?

“Man’s right to life means his right to have the free and unrestricted use of all the things which may be necessary to his fullest mental, spiritual, and physical unfoldment; or, in other words, his right to be rich.”  Wallace Wattles

In his book “The Science of Getting Rich” Wallace Wattles was unabashedly talking about rich in money, and so am I.  But I don’t mean rich in JUST money and he didn’t either; we mean rich in every way. To reframe his statement above, we are supposed to be free and abundant in all ways, to relish and excel in the experience of our minds, spirits and bodies, and we are supposed to have the money to do it all!

By understanding that anything we can conceive in our minds can be manifested in the physical, then holding the vision of our dream and the vibration of that vision, the Universe must deliver the physical form of that vision.

Do You Remember How To Dream?

“Imagination is more important than knowledge.  For while knowledge defines all we already know and understand, imagination points to all we might yet discover and create.”  Albert Einstein

Everything that exists, existed first in thought.  We think more than 60,000 thoughts a day, yet only about 5{9c244d8ed86355dd0a86bab4317158b0d119ceb95dfad73ab1415bad7035f9f4} of those thoughts are new.  95{9c244d8ed86355dd0a86bab4317158b0d119ceb95dfad73ab1415bad7035f9f4} are old, repeated, rote thoughts that keep every day about the same as the last, imprisoned by old patterns and beliefs.

We ARE creating our lives, and choosing to think different thoughts, to imagine outside of what we think is possible, is the best way to grow and to reach for our full potential.
Choose today to use your powerful imagination to form a vision of the life you would truly love.  Write that vision down!  Use that vision to steer your ship, instead of allowing the...

How Many Years Will You Live?

I was born in 1965, so that’s a lot of years of growing, experiencing, learning and evolving that would take forever to relate. As we get to know each other, we’ll fill in the blanks.

I had an amazing childhood, running wild all over town, riding my horse, free as a song. My teenage years were consumed with my dream of being an actress and singer. I worked my way through college as a radio announcer, and worked on and off in local television as a talk show host, commercial producer, actress and voiceover talent.

I was married for a minute in my 20’s, a wartime bride actually, finally graduated from college and came to the conclusion that sales was the place for the money and success I wanted. My dream of being an actress and singer somehow, someway died a very undramatic death; just faded away while I wasn’t looking. I don’t know the moment that I...

Effortless Beauty

I have an idea that I want to start creating a weekly video about whatever pops up that day, on our path to creating a beautiful life, one minute at a time.  Friday morning, I was at a favorite stop on our hike when I looked around and thought, “this is so beautiful!

Each and every tree is doing its own thing, having its own experience, changing in its own way with no regard for anyone else!  Such effortless beauty!”  Then I thought, “this would be a great video for this week!  I wish I had some make-up on and didn’t have hat hair”.  Really?!  LOL!   So clearly I still have some work to do on my own thinking!

What I want you and I to do is to really appreciate ourselves in all of our versions, with no regard for the approval of anyone else and perfectly in tune with the infinite.  I want us to understand that, while our bodies are beautiful and unique, we are SO much more than just our physical...

Be WHERE you are!

I am lately involved in SO many things!  Brain re-training with John Assaraf, Dream building with Mary Morrissey, re-training and brushing up on sales skills, just to name a few of my current learning, growing and improving life processes.

I’m loving every minute of it, don’t get me wrong, but there are so many audios I want to listen to, books to read, videos to watch that today I was tempted to listen to something on our hike.. For a second. Then I said No!  This time is about being present, right here in this beautiful place and giving this experience all of my attention.

A time to commune with nature, interact with my dogs, and connect with my body. There’s plenty of time to do everything, so make the effort to be truly focused on where you are and what you’re doing. The exception of course, is boring things. If you’re doing laundry, dishes or vacuuming, by all means pop in some earbuds and engage your brain!  Have a...

Do Something new and Something Scary every day

I attended this Brain-a-thon and dived headlong into this remarkable program!  I’m going to provide a precise explanation, direct from John Assaraf’s company to tell you more specifics.

Anyway!  The program includes a great psychologist, ( I apologize that I can’t remember her name; I’ll look it up and add later or email me if you must know right away)  It really stuck in my mind when she said: to keep your brain active and growing and evolving you need to do something new every day and something scary every day.

The something new, I got!  For most people this means taking a different route to work, or a million other things that happen out in the world.  But I added this to my list of daily habits, editing a little to say, “do or study something new, OR do something creative.  This I could do!  So I’m learning sign language, studying that every day, and following inspirations to do something creative.

Update and NEW Direction For Blog

I’m still alive and kicking, but I have abandoned this project.  I learned that having losing weight, banishing pounds, getting the perfect body…. whatever, as a focal point was counter-productive. I lost interest and got a little annoyed at the whole process, so, no more. This is how I roll, walk the way the wind blows.

That said, I’m quite certain that I will reach my new goal of 105!  Even if I never give it another thought.  Because I’m re-training my brain, priming it to work on this goal without my attention to it.  For the record, I’m 133 today.  I’ll report as time goes on, but that’s the end of my involvement.

Instead, this blog is to be about whatever is happening at the moment.  My new thing is Winning the Game of Money.  I am going to research the best link to share and will post that soon, as I’m SO in love with it and want everyone to have the same benefits.

So,...

Magic Mate Latte'

There’s not much new to report on the “allowing the perfect body” front.  I’m just humming along, being happy, looking forward to my trip to the Bahamas, seeing my darling great niece for the first time, and some exciting spring projects that are coming up!  Building my “stairway to heaven” for one!  More on that later.  All the clothes I am packing for the trip are fitting loosely, swimsuits are great, I’m more than happy with where I am, and fully expecting “perfection” whatever that turns out to be.  All is well.

HOWEVER, it sometimes takes some extra attention to keep my eyes on my path.  In the beginning of this journey, everything was so new and exciting.  New inspirations were just flying in and around 20 lbs were banished so effortlessly, it was easy to stay interested, focused and eager.

Then the new kind of wore off; me and my body settled into our new routines and it started to...
