How Is Your Gratitude Today?

“The men and women who practice the foregoing instructions will certainly get rich; and the riches they receive will be in exact proportion to the definiteness of their vision, the fixity of their purpose, the steadiness of their faith, and the depth of their gratitude”‘ – Wallace Wattles – Last paragraph of “The Science of Getting Rich”

This week we are exploring “The Science of Getting Rich” by Wallace Wattles, as it a current area of intense study for me.  If you have not read it, I highly encourage you to do so. It is only 77 pages and might be the only book you ever need to live a life that is rich in every way.  I am happy to send you a copy, just email me your request.  [email protected]

The final message in this is the “depth of their gratitude”.  We have talked about gratitude before and will again, because the vibration of gratitude is the same as the...

Would You Rather Be Right or Would You Rather Be Happy?

“Raise your words, not your voice.  It is rain that grows flowers, not thunder”‘ – Rumi

I have used this quote before, but I really love it and it is so true.  We often engage in arguments to try to make people see things and do things our way.  The more joyful path is to choose happiness and refuse to surrender it.

Be the person that no one can pick a fight with. BE the type of person you want to attract and stand firm in your determination to make your joy your goal. There is no happy ending to an unhappy journey.

Cloak yourself in self-respect so strong that you pass through life unseen by forces that want to create enmity. Teach yourself to always pause and consider and always choose your response, instead of just reacting.

Having a strong vision of how you want your life to be in every area is the most powerful tool you can have in order to live from the life of your dreams.

Are You Hanging On To Toxic Relationships?

“Do not let the behavior of others destroy your inner peace”‘ – Dalai Lama

Sometimes we feel like we are obligated to be around people who are not enriching or empowering to our lives. This is not so. The greatest gift you can give to the world is your own joy, peace and compassion.

Being in a constant battle to maintain your own high vibration with a person who is determined to hang on to their lower vibration does not serve either person.  Make it OK to walk away from people who steal your joy.

Love them, forgive them, wish them well and be on your way. Even a family member. It’s OK to love them from afar.

Other times we may be in a relationship that does not serve us, but we cannot let go out of fear.  Fear of the unknown, of being alone, that we may never find someone else to be with. We can choose to stay in the familiar and safe-feeling misery or to  move on into the unknown and scary potential for...

"Oneness" Or "Us and Them"?

I honor the divine light that is within you, that is also within me.  When you are in that place and I am in that place, we are one.  Namaste’

If you can embrace a oneness mentality, knowing that every person is a luminous light being, and that we are all one, joined together by the life force that is beating our hearts, it is much easier to look upon others with love and compassion.

When people in your life behave in ways that don’t please you, remember to separate the person from the behavior.  Reward, praise, compliment and uplift others when they act in empowering ways.  Turn your attention away when they don’t.

Every act is either an expression of love or a plea for love. Those in your life that appear negative or cantankerous are just asking for love in the best way they know how. We can never know what is in the heart of another, what trials and tribulations might be happening in their lives....

Are You Attracting Negativity?

“If you change the way way you look at things, the things you look at change”  – Dr. Wayne Dyer

My favorite quote from the beloved late Wayne Dyer includes people. When you look around at your life you see a perfect reflection of the vibrations you are holding, or the way you are looking a things.  I get a lot of questions about the impact of others in our lives, so this week we are going to explore some of the keys to successful interactions with other people.

The first and toughest thing to know is that negative behavior and expressions can only show up in your day if you are in some way matching that vibration or attracting that behavior.  So look first to your own heart and your own thoughts and finally your own actions.  Are you adding energy to the negative expressions?

Do you have hot buttons that you allow people to push and elicit a less than loving response.  Pay attention to what you...

Do You Act As The Highest Version Of Yourself?

“Always do your best. What you plant now, you will harvest later.” Og Mandino – author of “The Greatest Salesman In The World”

This week we are pondering and exploring meditation; specifically the Four Agreements, as written by Don Miguel Ruiz and taught to me by my meditation guru, davidji.  Inspired by this awesome weekend meditation.

The Fourth of the Four Agreements is:
Always Do Your Best. davidji has a wonderful meditation called DOing and BEing your best, wherein he says that between trying too hard and not trying at all is this sweet spot called doing your best. One of the core practices I teach my clients is to do what you can, with what you have, today, to take a step in the direction of your dream.

Your best will change from day to day, but if you always intend to show up wearing the best version of yourself that is available to you that day, you will live in joy and never have regrets. I heard my own coach, Rich Boggs say...
