Be Happy First is all about helping you to reclaim your power to create success, abundance, health and happiness in your life, to live your life on purpose. How to stop being a victim of circumstances, feeling constricted, limited and helpless and to start being confident, courageous and powerful! Connecting with your body is a fantastic way to remind yourself of who you really are. You can catch up on all of the videos for this month and previous months HERE.
This month so far, we have talked about the importance of having a loving relationship with your body and how to do that. As a refresher, you have a relationship with your body just like you have any other relationship; by communicating, listening, caring, understanding... getting really familiar and intimate. Most of us are critical and mean to our bodies and guess what we get back? Disease and discomfort, extra fat and malfunctioning parts. Love your body and your body will love you back. Feed it with amazing food, drink and most importantly thoughts and every cell will thank you by thriving and supporting you.
We also talked about "stress". What it really is, how it affects your body and what you can do about it. Stress is merely your reaction to circumstances and you are COMPLETELY in charge of how you react. You can see stress as opportunity or as death. You always get to choose.
Build in some tools to help you to be the master of your response to outside influences and therefore the master of your life! Reclaim your power to create your life exactly as you please.
Here are some suggestions:
Meditation. Just a few minutes of meditation each day can help you learn to pause and choose your response instead of reacting in ways that are detrimental to your health and your life.
Get moving! Even just a short walk especially outside will clear your mind and help you feel more in touch with your body.
Mindfulness Breaks. Set a timer and periodically check in with yourself and your body. Take a moment to bring yourself back to the present. Look around for something to love and appreciate.
Intention setting. Choosing each day to set your intentions for what you want to manifest and keeping your gaze fixed on those intentions.
Play! Mental games and even better, physical games keep your brain and your body tuned up and sharp. Throw a ball with your dog, hula-hoop, play any kind of game. If you're playing with other people you get even greater benefits from social connection.
Read for fun. Self-explanatory. It's awesome to immerse yourself in a story, get your imagination working, expand your vocabulary, strengthen your brain.
Laugh! Watch or listen to or think of amusing things as often as you can. Laughing releases dopamine and other beneficial chemicals in your brain. It's the best medicine!
Look for ways to be of service. Take your gaze from your own life and look at ways that you can help others. The biggest givers are often the happiest people.
Schedule "me" time and make it a priority. Love yourself enough to say "no" to things that interfere with this sacred appointment with yourself.
Listen to Music. Any kind, whatever you like!. Soothing and sweet, or dancing with joy. Music has it's own vibration and is a great tool to help you to manage your mood.
Finally, every day, look in the mirror with love and look for your greatest qualities to admire and appreciate. Give thanks for each of your trillions of cells that are performing miracles and carrying you around the world each day.
You get to choose! Use your Power to Choose and Choose Happiness!
