Be Happy First University is a six-month-long course, at the end of which you will have a new relationship with and understanding of who you really are, a divine, eternal creator. You will become a DELIBERATE creator, in love with your life right this minute and full of eager anticipation for the future moments you are creating. Your first class will always be on the first Tuesday of the month following your enrollment The time leading up to your first class will be spent in preparation, completing the first activity, “Back To Basics: Remembering How to Dream. This activity will awaken your imagination, remind you of the things you love, ignite your passion for creating a richer, fuller more satisfying life and produce the first version of your ‘vision’, the most important life tool you will ever have.
Class meets online at 11:30 Eastern time the first 4 Tuesdays of every month. Each class is only 30 minutes long, but the coach will stay up to an hour for discussions and questions if necessary. Class consists of a short teaching segment, 15-20 minutes, followed by questions and discussion and assignment of the activities for that week.
Each month is on a new subject and designed to provide you with at least one new life skill that you will use forever to become the best, happiest version of yourself you can be.

What to expect from your coaching program
Over the course of your coaching program, you will be learning several concepts that may be new to you. Each of these changes in thinking are empowering and life transforming if you take the steps to implement them. Your own life and the events you see unfolding around you will be evidence of the truth of these concepts.

- You are 100% responsible for your happiness, health, and success. You are 100% worthy and deserving of anything you want and you were meant to be happy and live the life of your dreams.
- Tiny adjustments to your habits of thought and behavior today will create giant changes in your future. Baby steps will take you all the way up Mt. Everest, you just have to keep taking them.
- Your thoughts determine how you feel and what you attract.
- Anything that can be imagined can be achieved. There is no problem that doesn’t have a solution.
- Every event is neutral until you assign a value to it. You have the power to choose your perception of everything.
- “Stress” is inevitable and neither bad nor good. The only power stress has is in how you view it and the value you assign to it.

Think about it. The chair you are sitting on, the clothes you are wearing, the roof over your head, airplanes, satellites, cars, computers….. these things did not exist until someone dreamed them up. And when the dream was first born, the dreamer had no idea how to actually make it happen, but they started trying; moving in the direction of their idea and getting more information with each step. When the Wright Brothers first dreamed up the airplane, they had no idea HOW to fly. They just headed in the direction of their dream, taking the first step and being open for the next steps to be revealed to them.
You are 100% responsible for your happiness, health, and success.
You created the life you are living. Without exception. This is not assigning blame or shame in any way, but if something in your life is not to your liking, it came about as a result of the thoughts you were thinking. This should not scare you or make you feel bad in any way, but should make you feel empowered! If you created the life you have now, you can create the life you will have tomorrow. You can mold the creation that is your life and you start with your thoughts. You have 100% control! You can choose what to do or not do, what to think or not think, and how to respond to events that seem to be happening outside of your control. You have the power to hit the pause button, step back and look at your leisure at any circumstance, and make a choice as to how you are going to feel about it. All events are neutral until we assign a value to them. You can choose to focus on the negative, or you can look for the possibilities, opportunities and challenges in any event. This isn’t instant, but a gradual re-training of your habits of thought.

Imagine a journey, plotted on a map. You have the point where you are and a line connecting to your destination 500 miles away. Now imagine changing the course just one degree. What is the impact on your path 200-300 miles down the road? Very different, right?! That is how small changes that you can affect at this very moment can alter your course. Tiny new habits each day will help to mold and transform your thoughts and your vibration and adjust your course to be headed just where you want to be.
Your thoughts determine how you feel and what you attract
Your emotions are a wonderful, divine barometer that gives you instant feedback on the thoughts you are thinking. This can be very simplistic, as in “I feel good, I must be thinking good thoughts.” Or “I feel bad, I must be thinking bad thoughts.” But we know the human brain is much more complex than this and it isn’t so simple to just choose to flip our thoughts around. We can, however, learn processes to change our thoughts gradually, to better and better feeling thoughts. Those better thoughts attract more better-feeling thoughts and your vibration starts to rise. The transverse is also true, however, and if you give attention to the thoughts that are troubling you, more and more of those thoughts will arrive and you will feel worse and worse. Keep traveling down this path and those negative thoughts will manifest in the physical in the form of illness or pain or misfortune. Happily, choosing better feeling thoughts can become a wonderful, empowering new habit. You will learn to almost instantly step back and revise your thoughts.

The trick to good problem solving is to get your mind out of the place where the problem was born and move to the place where the solution lives. Learning to ask the right questions and to listen for the ideas that are readily available will help you to learn effective problem solving and how to turn your gaze back in the direction of your dream, focusing more on the solution and less on the problem.
Every event is neutral until you assign a value to it
You have the power to choose your perception of everything, without exception. Your friend gets a bad diagnosis, say, cancer, which seems like a very dire event. One year later, your friend says that cancer was the very best thing that ever happened to her. That it changed her perspective and helped her to appreciate and live a much fuller life. This theme is re-occurring throughout history. There is a story of a man, his son, and a horse. The horse was a much treasured and important possession and the man depended on it greatly in doing the work on his small farm. One night, the son accidentally left the barn door open and the horse ran away. All of the man’s neighbors rushed to his door to lament this terrible misfortune. The man simply said, “well, let’s wait and see.” The next day, the horse returned and she was accompanied by 4 magnificent stallions, wealth beyond measure to this simple farmer. The townspeople rushed to his door to celebrate his good fortune. The man simply said, “well, let’s wait and see.” The next day, the man’s son was working with the new stallions, breaking them to saddle and wagon, when he was thrown and broke his leg. The neighbors cried loudly at this terrible misfortune. The man simply said, “Well, let’s wait and see.” The next week a general arrived and said that every able-bodied young man must accompany him into a battle that was assuredly a suicide mission but was decreed by the leaders of the land. The man’s son, having a broken leg, did not have to go. The townspeople descended on the man, marveling at his good fortune that his son’s injury had saved him from certain death. The man simply said, “Well, let’s wait and see.” Instead of a suicide mission, the new army prevailed in battle and each soldier was awarded a million dollars and returned home victorious and wealthy. The townspeople pitied the man, who was now very poor in comparison to his neighbors. “Such bad luck that your son’s injury prevented him from this great fortune. “ The man simply said, “Well, let’s wait and see.”
That night, marauders descended on the village and murdered all of the soldiers who had been awarded the great riches. The man and his son were spared, of course, as they had received no riches……. You can see how this story could go on and on and how any event could be seen as a victory or a calamity. The event itself is neutral until we assign a value. There are no “bad” events in the universe and everything can bring good fortune, even if we can’t see it at the time.
“Stress” is inevitable and neither bad nor good. The only power stress has is in how you view it and the value you assign to it.
As events can be seen however we choose, so can stress. And this makes the difference between stress being a “killer” and actually being helpful. In a recent study, 0ne group was told that stress will kill you, it’s bad, bad, bad! The other group was told that stress is good for them, that it causes the release of a beneficial growth hormone, improves immune system function and has other health benefits. While each group had the same amount of stress at the end of the study, the second group had a 25% reduction in the EFFECTS of stress. Lower blood pressure, etc. So viewing stress as a welcome challenge and an interesting development makes all the difference in the world.
Set your intention to fully work this program and begin moving in the direction of your dream life. The best part is not actually the attainment of your dream, but the person you become along the way. A powerful, happy, loving, deliberate creator.
